With our current limited access to people, classes and socializing it was a blessing to bump into you on my evening walk. Since that time you have welcomed me with open and virtual arms. You are a blessing, a ball of energy and exude a warm and inviting spirit. Joining your class has added a new dynamic to my fitness journey of power walking, cycling, toning and spin class. I’ve found total body transformation requires a variety of fitness. Mixing up various fitness training will jump starts the body, metabolism and desire to keep going. Plus line dancing strengthens the mind, coordination, body and possibly deters the aging process because you feel and move younger! 🏽
My current fitness goal is maintenance and a healthy lifestyle. Finding you and your class have definitely contributed to my goals and brought fun, sisterhood and inspiration to my journey. Keep giving, blessing and motivating! 🏽🏽🥰️

My testimony of LeneBody workouts & line dancing class started off with me not being able to dance. But shortly thereafter it became more. The Woman of Brewster Place. It a place we gather to let go and be free; to share our heart, mind, body and soul. You are not judge or felt unwanted and unloved. We are together as one. I learn to dance out my anger issue. I learn to dance out my Past hurt and pain. I learn to dance out my anxiety and panic attack and the most I dance out is my PTSD AND I dance out my fears of rejection. My weight loss goals is to get down to 130 pounds. I Love God with All my heart mind and soul. He an Amazing God. You don’t realize that God is all you need until you find out that God is all you have.

This is Shanda’s testimony.When I heard about this lean body line dancing workout with Marlene (great instructor), from my friend Gina, I was so excited to go out and see what it was about. I always wanted to be a part of a workout group and not have to go inside a gym. I love to dance so the combination of the work-out and line dancing is a great benefit for me. I got to meet some really friendly and exciting people who don’t mind helping you with your off-steps (they keep you motivated). I am not really focused on losing weight but if 30lbs can shed and a nice tone-up, I am good to go.Thank You Marlene,

I am a retired Senior. I worked at the Lyric Opera House until the Pandemic. I was always active until then. Once we were quarantined at home, the refrigerator and the TV became my best friends. Every once in a while I would take a walk, but I really wasn’t exercising or keeping it moving. So a friend invited me to join her in a line dance/ exercise group. At first I made up excuses, “It’s too early or maybe next time”.However, I realized I needed to move this body! So I decided to go with her. When we arrived, everyone was so welcoming. We began to stretch on the song, “You Alone”! It felt so good, being at one with nature. I didn’t know the dances, but everyone was so helpful and loving. After the dancing, we stop to give God thanks and ended with prayer. This class has definitely helped me!
Line dancing not only helps with your body, but also your mind and soul. Marlene is so wonderful. Her positivity is infectious! She continues to inspire us even when we aren’t in class. She gives freely of her time. She sends words of inspiration and encouragement. Marlene’s way of obeying God’s calling has truly been a Blessing to us all. I am truly thankful and grateful❣️🏾

Hi my name is Gail and so far I enjoy Marlene' step-workout classes very much. I enjoy dancing very much and always wanted to learn how to line dance. So far so good! At the present moment my weight is about 250pds. I want to get down to 175. I know l can achieve my weight loss goals with a healthy diet and a regular exercise regimen. During this unprecedented time of the COVID-19 pandemic Marlene (LeneBody) has provided me with additional means of getting fit.My goal is to lose 15-20 pounds and tone my body. Line Dance class provides much more than fitness it’s also a sisterhood. Each participant looks forward to class because it’s not only fun but it allows us to bond with one another as women.
Marlene motivates and encourages all participants by insisting that we commit to our fitness goals. She makes each of us feel welcome and important as class members.
While teaching class she speaks to everyone passing by. Which demonstrates her extreme friendly nature.
Class starts with a warm-up and ends with meditation and prayer. Marlene shows each of us that she cares, even expressing genuine love for us. She observes us individually, and when she sees one of us struggling, or having difficulties, learning the steps, she helps us out one on one until we feel comfortable executing the dance steps.
Marlene has been providing class several days a week, free of charge, which means she’s giving not only her time, but other resources. She is a Jewel to our community! I love and appreciate her for contribution.

I stumble across Marlene by accident. I had walked on the lakefront and upon returning to my car I heard music it was linedance music and I decided that I must see what’s going on. Marlene said in a friendly manner come join us don’t just watch, I’m hear everyday at 7:30 am . I decided I can do this. She Is such a motivator even when I wanted to stop and say this is to early or I’m a senior citizen. The aerobics and stretching help with my ability to walk long distances. She reminds us to watch what we eat and drink plenty of water . Yes we all want to lose weight but inches will also due . She is the greatest.

Lean body makes working out fun. I do better in group classes because Im lazy. Seeing others move and their energy ignites me. Marlene has an amazing amount of energy and its super contagious. She makes working out fun . She is great motivation and her line dancing class makes working out doable and super fun.
